The United Nations Initiative is an international organization founded in 1945 to promote peace, security, development, and human rights worldwide.

The UN Initiative works through various organs and specialized agencies, facilitating cooperation among member states to address global challenges through diplomacy, peacekeeping, humanitarian aid, and development initiatives.

 There are currently 193 member states in the United Nations Initiative , each represented in the General Assembly and having a voice in decision-making processes.

 The SDGs are a set of 17 global objectives adopted by all UN member states in 2015 to address urgent social, economic, and environmental challenges, aiming to achieve a more sustainable and equitable world by 2030.

 The UN provides humanitarian aid to millions of people affected by conflicts, natural disasters, and other emergencies worldwide through agencies like UNICEF, UNHCR, and the World Food Programme, delivering lifesaving assistance and supporting long-term recovery and development.

The UN leads global efforts to combat climate change through initiatives like the Paris Agreement, promoting international cooperation, raising awareness, and supporting countries in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and adapting to the impacts of climate change.

 Individuals can engage with the UN by staying informed about global issues, supporting UN agencies and programs through donations or volunteer work, advocating for human rights and sustainable development, and participating in UN events and campaigns.
